Try and Try Again

Try and Try Again
Ben E.

Everyone needs a second chance, writes our man Benjamin E. Check out his review of two flicks due out in time for Hanukkah, and see why he very much enjoys seeing a screw-up getting things (almost) totally right the second time around.

What would we do without second chances? I dread the answer, because how could we be expected to get everything right the first time around? The truth is we can't, which is why I love to see characters in movies be given the second chances they need.

Shmoozin' with Zach Braff

Caroline Kepnes

Last month, we scored an exclusive with actor/director/writer Zach Braff! The star of Scrubs talks to JVibe about musical mezuzahs, directing his own films, and going through puberty...twice.

Zach Braff, age 30, proves he's very un-Hollywood by calling right on time. "Carolyn?" he asks. I try not to freak out that the star of NBC's Scrubs and the writer/director/star of award-winning romantic quirky comedy Garden State is on the other end of the line. After all, Zach is the poster boy for multi-talented Jewish gents in the entertainment industry.
