JVibe decided it was time to provide you with some hot and current news on our past cover girls/guys, as well as the stars we feature in our Pop Life interviews. Since JVibe gets the first scoop on young stars like our Jan/Feb coverguy Joe Trohman from Fall Out Boy, we want to keep you updated on their success! Then, when they become as huge as past cover-celebs like Natalie Portman and Zach Braff (don't worry, we've got them covered, too), you can say you saw it back in the day when JVibe got the story. In this corner of our Pop Culture section, Adam will always be here with Adam's Vibe on the Jews you love most.
Natalie Portman (Love/Sex, June/July 2005) was snagged by Paul McCartney to star in his new music video, “Dance Tonight,” a song from McCartney's new studio album, Memory Almost Full. The video had its world premiere in late May on YouTube.com (www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTNXrkBSp_o). Portman has a connection with McCartney's daughter Stella, who designs non-leather vegan shoes that Portman buys. In the video, Portman plays a “futurist electronic ghost” who is summoned by the sound of McCartney's mandolin. Finally, Portman has also been nominated for the “World's Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity” by GoVeg.com.
